Mann - Old School Love

Rochelle Jordan – “How To Feel”

Toronto songstress Rochelle Jordan releases “How To Feel”…which might just be my new favourite song, and that’s saying a lot since I just posted the new Soundtrack To The Streets last week.

Neverest - Everything

Everything" directed by RT!
"Everything" is a short film starring Canada's best kept secret, pop band Neverest, scored to their sophomore single.
It gives a glimpse of separate late night rendezvous of four couples caught up in that early romantic infatuation that we all experience in the first few weeks of meeting someone special. It was shot over the course of a week on location in Los Angeles, California and features German female popstars Queensberry.

Drake and Lil Wayne Go to Rehab

Drake checked into Rehab over Memorial Day weekend, except the only treatment he received at this facility was plenty of eye candy and alcohol. Drizzy hosted the Rehab Pool Party at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, hitting the stage with surprise guest Lil Wayne. The Young Money compadres performed poolside before Weezy took a dip in the water with some bikini-clad babes. “Rehab Pool Party in Vegas is going to alter your life if you come,” tweeted the Canadian star, who was also joined by Christina Milian and Jamie Foxx.

Benny Gold Flagship Store

After hearing that Benny Gold was moving to a larger location, we have been waiting patiently to see what the flagship store has to offer. The Hundreds recently visited the spot in San Francisco and took a couple flicks of the new location. The store carries Benny Gold’s in-house brand as well as others such as HUF and Thorocraft. Check out the pics and make sure to visit the store when you’re in the area.

Lil Wayne – How to Love

Usually swaying between rap and rock music, Lil Wayne is never one to shy away from other genres. This is the case with the alleged next single from his highly anticipated Tha Carter IV project. Entitled "How to Love," the Detail-produced jam is an acoustic ballad that offers a new side of Weezy. It remains to be seen if this soulful jam will garner him significant radio airplay, but it sure is an interestingly different approach. You be the judge.

Shanghai Museum of Glass

Glass is a nearly ubiquitous resource, a compound of common application in both art and industry. To honor its history in craft and construction, the city of Shanghai has opened the Shanghai Museum of Glass, a two-story temple of translucence. The Shanghai Museum of Glass was built into a re-purposed glass factory in Shanghai’s Baoshan District, an industrial area where much of China’s glass was produced and refined. With the help of Logon Architecture and Coordination Asia, the city of Shanghai now has a remarkable new museum that is a true work of art in its own right.

The interior, crafted by Coordination Asia, is awash with glass on nearly every surface. Even the floor, walls and furniture are coated with a black lacquered glass. The contents of the museum range from stained glass windows to glass sculptures and other historic uses of glass, including a shared focus on its industrial history.

The Shanghai Museum of Glass is to be one of 100 museums constructed in Shanghai in this decade. China’s most populous city aims to be a world beacon for culture, and its latest museum in the Baoshan District could make it the world capitol for the study and celebration of clean, clear glass.

The Weeknd – Rolling Stone

After four tracks leaked the other day, The Weeknd has returned with a new, official cut for the fans. The song, entitled "Rolling Stone," features the Toronto-based, Drake-affiliated crooner singing over an acoustic guitar-driven instrumental. Just as with the songs on House of Balloons, this one was produced by none other than IllAngelo. Could this be on the summer follow-up to that project, Thursday?

Nardwuar vs. Curren$y Part 2

After meeting in Austin, TX at this year's SXSW, Nardwuar went one on one with Curren$y again during his tour stop in Vancouver, BC. Again, the two gentlemen discuss a range of subjects regarding Spitta's musical influences. Entertaining as usual. Enjoy!

PANGEA Kidz - JUNGLE ON MY NECK

I first ran into Pangea Kidz during a live performance they had about a month ago at a local night spot. Ever since then, I’ve been a quiet fan of their music. It’s always refreshing to hear a live band with dope production blended with lyrical hip hop lyrics, it really does take the music to another level. Now I really understand why a live band is a must for such acts like Wale and Yelawolf, the level of energy can’t be matched without it, I don’t care who you are. Add that to the fact that their overall stage presence was on point as well and Pangea Kidz is now definitely on my “watch list” for 2010.

Front musician Chris dropped of to me their latest and most popular single titled “Jungle On My Neck”. As he tells it, the popularity of this song is growing tremendously day to day and I can see why. The content is very unique but catchy enough not to alienate the listener into feeling like they can’t enjoy the music without missing the overall message. Simply put, this is one of those songs where you gonna vibe to it first and then figure out what the hell they were talking about later.

J. Cole - Return Of Simba

J. Cole just can’t wait to be king on “Return of Simba,” the latest in his series of Lion King-inspired songs. “Let me show you how to move in a room full of dudes who don’t got a fu**in’ clue how to do this,” growls the Roc Nation rapper over the soulful beat produced by himself and Elite, while proclaiming his arrival. “I’ma be here for a while, none of these clowns can hurt me.” His official single drops in the coming week, but hear him roar below.

The Weeknd - Birthday Suit x Love Through Her

Complex has uncovered a demo track called "Birthday Suit," which Tesfaye reportedly wrote back in 2009 as part of the songwriting/production team the Noise. Apparently, this one was actually penned for Drake, who of course big-upped the Weeknd and is now working with Tesfaye.

Lil Wayne Heats Up Miami with New Girl

Lil Wayne soaked up the sun, jetting from Las Vegas to Miami for some R&R on Tuesday (May 24). A tatted Weezy held hands with a mystery woman as they strolled on the beach. Fans approached him for photos and he happily agreed, mugging shirtless for the cameras. His new chick was seen holding shots, but Wayne wasn’t able to partake in the drinking games due to the terms of his probation. The “6 Foot 7 Foot” rapper is enjoying his down time before hitting the road on the second leg of the “I Am Still Music” tour on July 13.

Evolution of Man

Casas Del Sol, Thailand

The western shores of the Gulf of Thailand provide some of the most beautiful and exotic scenery in the world, and the island of Ko Tao may be one of its greatest gems. The vacation homes of Casas Del Sol are perched above the Ko Tao beaches with an unparalleled view of the ocean, the lush green vegetation and the sandy beaches which line the island. The homes are designed so that the view beyond is the central point of their entertainment focus. The furniture within is aimed toward the patio outdoors, bringing the tropical Ko Tao scenery into their design. Outdoors, each home has a long lap pool next to a covered seating area which becomes an extension of the inner living room when the sliding glass doors are fully opened. There are plenty of luxury hotels and private retreats along Thailand’s eastern shores, but the Casas Del Sol appear to be amongst the best.

Frank Ocean – ‘Acura Integurl’

Frank Ocean gets behind the wheel of his Acura NSX in the video for “Acura Integurl.” “I’m not just in it for the ride,” sings the Odd Future crooner while speeding through the hills of Southern California at dusk. Def Jam is planning to commercially release his debut album Nostalgia, Ultra this summer.

BMW 328 Hommage

The BMW 328 is widely considered one of the 25 greatest cars of the century, such so that the carmaker has produced a unique concept car to mark the 328′s 75th birthday. The BMW 328 Hommage is specially crafted to mimic the design of the original–an ultra-lightweight 1,720 lb. sports car utilizing carbon fiber-reinforced plastic. The automobile was also one of the first in the line to incorporate kidney grilles upon the front and wide-set tail lamps in the rear. The sleek, doorless design and simplistic earthtone interior make for deconstructed elegance.
Although no official specifications have been announced, BMW casually mentions the inclusion of a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine.
